How does a nozzle work?
It operates by means of a device capable of converting enthalpy, transforming thermal energy into kinetic energy. This process affects the pressure of the fluid used in turbomachinery and jet propulsion systems.
As the cross-sectional area of the nozzle decreases, the velocity of the fluid increases, enabling high-pressure water to be propelled through the pipe. As a result, the temperature decreases while energy is conserved.
Pulling nozzles
These are the most commonly used nozzles for pipe cleaning when the objective is to remove solid deposits such as mud, sludge, sand and gravel.
They use a high-pressure water system to dislodge debris and are specifically designed to provide excellent pulling power for heavy, flat-shaped materials by producing water jets at different angles.
They are also known as “final cleaning” nozzles because they offer outstanding conveying performance and are typically used during the final stage of pipe cleaning. They feature a single jet and a higher flow rate than most other nozzles.
